THE FOUNDATION

(2013–2018) Kiragu Thuo’s journey began in the trenches. For five years, he operated in the shadows as a first assistant to the industry's local and international heavyweights. This was his technical education—a period dedicated to mastering the rigors of high-end production, understanding light, and learning the rules of the trade before he ever dared to break them.

THE VISION (2018–PRESENT) In 2018, Thuo stepped forward to define his own visual language. Anchored by that technical discipline but driven by a passion for the untold story, he now executes massive campaigns for giants like Safaricom , Amazfit , and KCB.

Today, he moves fluidly between worlds. One day, it is the polished, high-gloss perfection of a Nivea beauty shoot; the next, it is the raw, evocative storytelling of a personal documentary. A firm believer that the magic happens in the details, Thuo manages his own retouching to ensure the final image matches the vision conceived in his mind
